Tuna Kinilaw

Today is Sunday, and I usually miss home (more) on Sundays.  When I hear mass I saw families that go together, and I am envious and then I will be a little bit lonely.  But then again this is my choice.  I choose to work here in the so called Metropolis of the Philippines.

Today, as I am thinking about my home, I got hungry and I am craving for my father’s yummy kinilaw.  Yes, I can always prepare one here but I have to find a good fish (more hassle), so I have to wait, and besides I cannot copy my father’s version of doing it.  I will eat a lot of kinilaw when I got home. That is a promise.
